"Please Please the Bees" by Gerald Kelley
"Life is sweet for Benedict. Every morning he wakes up to find jars of fresh honey on his back porch. He makes honey toast for breakfast, bakes honey cake in the afternoon, and drinks honey tea before bed. But one day, the jars on Benedict’s porch are empty. The bees in his backyard have gone on strike! They are tired of doing all the work around the hive. What can Benedict do to make the bees happy and bring sweetness back to his days?"
You will have to return this book to the library; everything else is yours to keep!
You will have the book read to you by actress Rashida Jones. She did such a great job, we hope you enjoy her reading as much as we did!

A Little Brown Bear
A little brown bear
Went in search of some honey.
(Cup hand above eyes)
Isn't it funny,
A bear wanting honey?
He sniffed at the breeze
And he listened for bees.
(Sniff, then cup hand behind ear)
And, would you believe it,
He even climbed trees!
(Make climbing movements)
Bumblebee on My Nose
(Tune: “Jingle Bells”)
Bumblebee, bumblebee
Landing on my toes.
Bumblebee, bumblebee,
Now he's on my nose!
On my arms,
On my legs,
On my elbows.
Bumblebee, oh, bumblebee,
He lands and then he goes!
Do You Like To Buzz?
(Tune: “Do Your Ears Hang Low”)
Do you like to buzz?
Are you covered all in fuzz?
Do you call a hive a home
In the garden where you roam?
Do you know how to make honey?
Are your stripes a little funny?
Do you like to buzz?
