ACTION RHYMES

Everybody in the Building

(“The Wheels on the Bus”)

The baby in the building goes waa, waa, waa

Waa, waa, waa, waa, waa, waa

The baby in the building goes waa, waa, waa

Oh, it’s so loud!

The bird in the building goes “Rrrak! Wake up!”…

The boys in the building go stomp stomp stomp…

The cat in the building goes meow meow meow…

The car by the building goes WEEYOOWEEYOO…

Everyone in the building then goes to bed

Goes to bed, goes to bed

Everyone in the building then goes to bed

Shhh! Quiet now!

Quiet Mouse

Here’s a quiet little mouse

Living in a quiet little house

(hold thumb in fist)

When all was quiet as could be

OUT! POPPED! HE!

(pop out thumb)

Shake Your Sillies Out

Gotta shake, shake, shake my sillies out

(shake both hands wildly)

Shake, shake, shake my sillies out

Shake, shake, shake my sillies out

And wiggle my waggles away!

Gotta clap, clap, clap my crazies out...

Gotta jump, jump, jump my jiggles out...

Gotta stretch, stretch, stretch my stretchies out…

Loud and Quiet

Quietly, quietly not a sound

I’m listening and I’m listening as I look around

No sounds as I nod (nod)

No sounds as I clap (clap)

No sounds as I tap my hands on my lap (tap)

But then…

Loudly, loudly, stamp and clap (stamp and clap)

Loudly, loudly, stamp and clap (stamp and clap)

Loudly, loudly, stamp and clap (stamp and clap)

All that noise, well fancy that!

Thunderstorm

Boom, bang, boom, bang!

(Clap hands)

Rumpety, lumpety, bump!

(Stomp feet)

Zoom, zam, zoom, zam!

(Swish hands together)

Rustles and bustles

(Pat thighs)

And swishes and zings!

(Wave arms)

What wonderful noises

A thunderstorm brings!
