Can You Show Me…?

Yellow fish, yellow fish?

Can you show me the yellow fish?

And wave it in the air?

White… blue… red… orange

Hold It High – Choose one fish from handouts

Hold your fish high and stand

Now wave it around in gestures grand!

Hold your fish below your chin

Now hold it way up high again

Hold your fish against your nose

Now touch the fish to your toes

Touch your fish to the ground

Now wave that fish all around!

Hold your fish in front of you

Now turn around – one time, two!

Hold your fish and jump up high!

Now let your fish fly fly fly (throw it in the air)

He wiggles his fins, then swims away.

He swims and swims in the water bright.

He opens his mouth and takes a bite.

Mmmmmmmmmmm! Tastes good!

I’m a Little Fishy

(Tune: I’m a Little Teapot)

I’m a little fishy

I can swim

Here is my tail

Here is my fin

when I want to have fun

With my friends

I wiggle my tail and

Dive right in.

If You’re a Fishy and You Know It

(tune: “If You’re Happy and You Know It”)

If you’re a fishy and you know it, say, “Blub, blub”.

If you’re a fishy and you know it, say, “Blub, blub”.

If you’re a fishy and you know it

And you really want to show it

If you’re a fishy and you know it, say, “Blub, blub”.

Wave your fins…

Splash your tail…

Ten Little Fishes

Ten little fishes were swimming in a school.

(count each fish on a finger)

This one said, “Let’s swim where it is cool.”

This one said, “It’s a very warm day.”

This one said, “Come on, let’s play.”

This one said, “I’m as hungry as can be.”

This one said, “There’s a worm for me.”

This one said, “Wait, we’d better look.”

This one said, “Yes, It’s on a hook.”

This one said, “Can’t we get it anyway?”

This one said, “Perhaps we may.”

This one, so very brave, grabbed a bite and swam away.
